Money Militia

With people travelling to hot zones like Nevada, sometimes you may wish you could do more. Sometimes contributing an hour's wage is worth more to a cause than an hour of your time would be. It's often an easier thing to give, too.

Consider supporting the acute battle in Washington state, headed for polls in November. Donating with paypal is quick and painless, and they have a link on the right side of this page:

Obviously there are many other worthy causes, but remember to focus on the ground war (local and state campaigns), not just the air cover (broad national organizations). Scroll to the bottom of this article ( to read how the opposition is just completing a fund-raising drive for $3 donations. I just donated to offset some of those, and I'm sure anything you could offer will help out.

While I agree with your thinking it strikes me as pretty ironic that you would use Paypal since they are a totally antigun company.

I appreciate the irony of using PayPal for pro 2A efforts.

If I'm not mistaken, we haven't found a company equivalent to paypal that is pro gun. So if it's a choice between using a company that doesn't allow firearm transactions and not raising money for pro gun groups at all, seems pretty clear to me. If there is another company that offers the same service, certainly let gun organizations know about them.

I think until someone comes up with a very recognizable, safe and accepted site to pay instantly through, PayPal will do. I would rather pay through PayPal. I don't have to get my wallet and type a credit card into who knows who. PayPal spends enough money on protecting its customers (security wise). I think it's handy but if a pro-gun company shows up and makes its way into the pack, I'll be switching.

I agree wholeheartedly with Ryanxia, I think even a small donation to these local and state elections and shoring up their constitutions can be worthwhile. We can fight these gun grabbers like Bloomberg and Gates. Just think, 350 million people in the US. 35% of us are gun owners. If each of us gave say $25 total to all the different campaigns, we're talking over 3 BILLION dollars toward the pro-gun, pro constitution cause, if I did my math right.
