Thinking of a 556 Specwar but concerned about Trifecta accuracy

I am looking to get a Specwar (even in preference to the Saker) because it is so damn quiet. However, I am skeptical about the Trifecta mount being non-symmetric (three different prong lengths to prevent ringing). I currently use the Wilson AccuTac on a rifle that gets 0.66 MOA groups routinely. The AccuTac is totally symmetric on the muzzle side (the prongs have different weights from different length ferrules on the outside surface which prevents the "tuning fork" effect.

In a recent SilencerCo video about the Saker modular attachment options, they mention the Trifecta being a mount for "door kickers" and suggested direct thread for precision use. This concerns me. I am an accuracy junky.

If your a accuracy junky why are you looking at anything other than a Thunderbeast Arms can? They build their cans around precision shooting.

I got a Specwar in for a customer he shot that and the TBAC 223A can and he didn't even feel bad about taking the TBAC can instead of the Specwar, to me (and the customer) the TBAC was quieter also.

1. Never heard of them.
2. Want a QD can. I already have a thread-on 7.62 can which is ear safe on my full length ARs.

Never heard of them.
Thunderbeast is known for making some of the most accurate rifle silencers you can buy, they're very popular in the long-range precision shooting crowd.

Sure, the Trifecta could -- in theory -- negatively affect accuracy, but I've seen perfectly symmetrical muzzle brake mounts negatively affect accuracy too. It really all depends on how that particular can fits to the mount. If I were you I would try to find some Specwar owners with Trifecta mounts and see if they've done any accuracy testing.

Thunderbeast just released a new brake attach version of all their suppressors, called the CB (Compact Break). Their Brake Attach verisons were great before but some people cried that they were ugly and too big.

I will be looking into this can if i buy another 223 can. I have their 30BA and its awesome.

yeah, its a "thread on" type can but its just as quick attach as anything else i know of.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to be delaying my purchases for a few months due to other (non-gun) priorities.

My current gun build priorities:
-Finish my 5.56 piston side-cocker MEDCON (Adams/American Spirit/Rainier) Recce
-Finish my Savage .260 bolt gun with handmade barrel (on order).
-Finish my custom 10mm 9" BBL G2 Roni (stamp expected by late June)
-Get a better 10.5" 300BLK barrel for my SBR.
-Finish stock work on one of my SBSes, optics mount on another.
-Set up Lage M31A (stamp expected by early June, first batch of M31 G2 uppers being machined now. I'm high on the list.). Get more Suomi drums. Z-Mags (if they are available by then).

Except for a few parts for these projects, I'm going on a Gun Diet for a few months.

Back burner:
-Build .458 SOCOM upper
-More silencer(s)

Poor accuracy will come from a poorly designed QD mount. IE- A wobbly one that doesn't lock up 100% tight. The barrel harmonics will change so you will have POI shift but it's minimal and repeatable.

AZ Mike: I will be able to give you a firsthand report on the Specwar 556 with Trifecta mount on a 24 in Stag heavy barrel and a Bushmaster 16" soon. I pick up my suppressor on Saturday! :) (6 months and 1 week from purchase, efile for a Trust)
