...has anyone used--or even seen--the new Rhino "Stinger" sub-gauge tubes??? They APPEAR to offer an excellent compromise between the ultrashort "Lil' Skeeters" and "Chamber Mates" and the full-length tubes such as Briley and Kolar make...anybody???....mikey357

Mikey,
I've had no experience with RHINO's Stingers, but I've been shooting SEMINOLE'S Chambermates for over a year, and I've been very pleased with thier performance. I've had good luck in several NSCA sub gauge events, including a few perfect scores....they perform well, and most importantly to me, they don't change that balance of your gun at all!

They are mean on doves and quail also :D

...I appreciate the input, Will...I am just SURE that while the "Chambermates" are at least adequate--or better--in the 20 ga. and 28 ga., that their performance--read: VELOCITY and PATTERN DENSITY--MUST fall off in the .410...must'nt it???
I just cannot believe that a "tube" that short will give superior patterns and "normal" velocity using the typical .410 powders, like 296 and H110...just doesn't make sense, at least not to me...and, BTW, the type of patterns I'm talking about are those that would be comparable to the ones given by a set of Briley or Kolar full-length tubes....mikey357

Mikey,
I hear yoru skepticism....heck, I didn't thinkt he 20 ga would work when SEMINOLE first told me about them! But I have run some mighty good score with all three gauges.....even the .410

Keep in mind, there is NO SUCH THING as a good .410 pattern:scrutiny:

The .410 chambermates have approx 10" tubes[aluminium] on the chamber inserts, and they do burn the powder pretty well. I STILLdon't understand how any of the short tubes/inserts really work, but they work well enough to break targets and kill birds, so I stopped trying to figure it out:rolleyes:

I shoot NSCA subgauge events occasionally, with main events and FITASC taking priority. What I appreciate the most about CHAMBERMATES is the fact that they don't change the handling of the gun....at all! That is more important to me than a few FPS.

Probally the ideal set up would be a dedicated "carrier barrel with Ultra-lite Ti tubes"that matched wieght with your 12 ga barrels....

Let's see....probally $2K for a new set of BERETTA DT10 barrels[if I can find them] and around $1500 for the tubes/chokes/ and gunsmithing.......$3000-3500 for the IDEAL set up, or $650 for a set of CHAMBERMATES?
