Ok so I have a FA RT that I really love my first batch on 750 .40 S&W cases done with the provided brass cleaner still look like brand new.

I have since done 600 .30 carbine cases using lemishine and dawn both methods also using SS pins. I have noticed that the .40 cases still look new and the .30 carbine cases are starting to darken already has anyone experimented with any time of brass polish/cleaner other then the FA brass cleaner they suggest to keep the brass from tarnishing? Any info would be appreciated

I have a home made tumbler that I use with stainless media.
I used to use Dawn dish soap and Lemishine. I now use ArmorAll Wash and Wax solution instead of Dawn.
I run my tumbler for about 2 - 3 hours.
It sounds like you may be using to much Lemishine in the tumbler. Start with a 9mm case full and work up slowly.

I had a chance to read your post again and realized I misinterpreted you question. I thought you were having problems with stains from the tumbler. You seem to mean that your brass is tarnishing soon after you tumble it. That is the main reason I switched to the ArmourAll cleaner. It is a multi-win scenario.
1. It costs less than the Dawn soap.
2. It doesn't suds up as much either.
3. The wax keeps the brass from tarnishing. (this is the equivalent of using NuFinish in dry media.)
4. Pistol brass sizes easier with the mild lubrication.
