Have any of you folks tried out the Speer Lawman 00buck as offered by Ammoman?
I'm curious to find out whether or not this is "low recoil, yadda yadda yadda" fodder.
Thanks in advance,
Jim

Hi Jim; I just shot some today, I was very happy with it. Its a nice buffered load with 8 copper plated shot per shell. Yes I would say it is the reduced recoil variety, I was doing some side by side patterning with the Estate reduced recoil buck and the Speer was a little tighter. I would say the recoil was the same to my un-educated shoulder. Ill try to get some more details if anyone is interested. I did my shooting before I came to work so I havent got a chance "analyse" the targets yet, there just rolled up in the car.

Adam,
Thanks for the input.
I was actually looking for Estate 00buck, but stumbled upon the Speer and was contemplating the purchase of both of them.
Thanks,
Jim

I was in the same situation Jim; Looking for a good source for some Estate 00 buck and came across the deal on the Speer.
The results from todays shooting;
I was shooting an 8 shot Mossberg, 20" cylinder bore barrel. 30 feet and 5 shots each of the Estate and the Speer.
The Estate shot a pattern 10" wide and 7.5" high pretty well centered on the point of aim.
The Speer shot a pattern 8.5" wide and 5" high also centered on the point of aim.
Personally Im very pleased with either and I think they would be very effective in a HD situation. I would say the one with the best price would be that one I would be shooting.

I also picked up some of the lawman 00buck along with some federal 00buck to try out from ammoman.com.
