Looks like House Democrats are trying to see if they can sneak in a UBC amendment into an upcoming spending bill for federal agency budgets.

With the current makeup of Congress, I don't see this getting very far, but it might not be a bad thing to fire off some letters/emails to your reps to let them know we're watching.

I found it interesting that according to the article, the spending bill they want to attach a Universal Background Check to, already has a bit about prohibiting the ATF from forcing dealers to report multiple rifle sales.
