On my SW Shield, the rear sights are real sharp. Both inside and outside "posts".

I'm thinking of taking a file to them just to take the edge off.

What would you guys recommend to refinish the smoothed out area?

When I removed the rear sight once before, I dinged it up a little with the punch (those things are really on there), and hit it with some black sharpie, but that didn't last too long, so I know that wont work.

TIA.

Cold blue is the better choice in my mind.
