Seems high.
My dad bought a pre 64 a year ago for $350.
I don't like scopes on them so it would be worthless for me.
Never seen a bad trapper though:)

I'm not sure what the scope is worth, but I'm pretty sure you can get a new gun for that price.
I would certainly check.
(If I'm not mistaken, a new Trapper around here is <$300.

My dealer had two older, full length 94s on the shelf yesterday.

The really old one was $169, and the newer looking one was $189.

The Trapper is probably going to cost a few buck more.

Used 94s don't seem to hold their value for some reason.
They are really great, reliable, accurate, guns.
For the regular length models, you can find them all day for $150-190.

Yep. I paid $175 for mine and it only had 40 rounds through it. The previous owner even threw in the scope rings and the other 2 boxes of ammo he had.
$330 seems a bit high to me as well. Check prices on gunbroker.com or auctionarms.com. I could be wrong.

I might have been right for once on a price question. First for everything.

Thought price was high. I checked the MSRP at winchesters website. Thanks for the input

I just realized that the freedom of the internet is bound to keep prices low and people honest. AT least those that choose the right group to assemble with.

10 years ago I would have paid the $330. :p Now I a'm a s-m-a-r-t internet shopper.

TimH,here in W.Pa. used(ever so lightly) Win. 30/30's go for between $125.00 and $275.00 with the Trappers being in the higher end. With that in mind the $330.00 asking price might, and I repeat, might not be too far off.Trappers are great for short range work and there-by no scope is needed. Can you get a good cheek weld with those see thru's? I can't.Also I always figured used scopes were worth about zilch,so I come up with offer the Guy$275.00 and see where it goes.IMHO.tom.:)
