Any reason for a USP .40f over the USP .45f?

It seems the USP .40f is practically the same size as the USP .45f. Bearing that in mind, is there any reason for the .40 over the .45?

Thanks,
Steve

Yes--they LOOK to be the same size but if you pick it up, the grip for the 45 is slightly longer. This doesn't work for some folks.

Yup, the 9mm and .40 S&W caliber USPs have slightly smaller frames than the .45 ACP USP. Same thing as comparing a Glock 17/22 to a Glock 20/21.

Ditto with the above comments. USP 45 is a little bigger. Aside from that, the .40 feels too snappy to me in the USP series. .45 has been smoother in both the .45 Compact and .45 Tactical, IMO. Can't speak for the vanilla USP Full-size.
