Hi Guys,

Great forum! Man its gonna take me awhile to check out everything in here. I did a search but found most of the posts relating to the p40 pistol. I am specifically interested in the P40 Covert.

Anyone have one, good, bad or does the P still stand for problems?

Thanks much,

Billy

P is for polymer in the Kahr line.
The covert is a neat gun, short grip with longer slide.

Thank you for the reply. I should have been more specific. I am concerned because I had read that there were so many problems with the polymer framed Kahrs and I just wanted to know if they have sorted that all out with the new P40's. Seems like a real winner to me but I don't want to be trusting my life to something thats not going to be reliable.

Thanks,

Billy

I had an early polymer framed 9mm. It was a jamomatic, due to a problem in the creation process of the polymer frame.
From all I have heard, they fixed that problem and are an excellent pistol.
My misses carries a MK9 daily and it is a great gun.
I would have no qualms about getting the polymer version now that it has been fixed.
