Cool! Don't forget that range report ;) I've been contemplating getting one to round out my poly-gun collection

I surely will............ i could do nothing but complain about the first p22 i had. i mean you could barely call the thing a gun, it was more like a paperweight...................
thats really a shame too because the P99 is possibly my favorite gun of all time. I hope this new p22 lives up to its big brother.......

They seem like really nice guns. I wish they were available w/ adustable sights...but that may not be an issue
Looking forward to that report :)

they come with, errr, i think three replaceable front sites and the back sights are adjustable for windage........
i am thinking of getting the "face off" holster from black hills to wear both on the small of my back.............anyone have any experience with these kinds of holsters?

well just got back from the range, shot 100 rounds of mini mags at 15 yards. not too bad, none fell out of the main target area.........funny how none acutally hit the X..........hahahaa still not bad for a 3 inch barrel

I have nothing but praise for my P22. Almost certain I'll end up getting a P99 to go along with it.

After I got mine to the point of reliability, I shot the follwing target at 15 yard. This pistol is very accurate if you ask me.

David S,
Walther also contacted me on replacement of my P22.
I have a question though. Did Walther/S&W ship your new P22 to you or did you have to have the new P22 shipped to an FFL holder from which you picked the new P22 up?

S&W shipped it to a FFL............i had to go thru the paperwork as if it where a new gun........

I got one of the first Ltd Edition models with both barrels. Didn't want to shoot it so picked several up in both 3.5" & 5" for my shop.
The adjustable backstrap like on the P99 helps to customize the fit.
My fav Walther is still the P88 Compact but I'm liking the P99 more & more.

David S,
Thanks for the info on the FFL inquiry.
Strange thing though is that a little over a year ago(okay on 11-05/01) I received a new replacement PT940 from Taurus for same pistol that had cracked its frame. Old cracked frame PT940 had serial # SCR86xxx while new PT940 was serialed as STG41xxx. That replacement was shipped directly to me by Taurus, with no FFL being involved?!?!?
Have things changed since then or did Taurus do a no-no? Just curious.

Don't you want to get a Gemtech Outback silencer for that P22?
Here's a video clip of suppressed P22 in action.
Just scroll down until you see the link to the video clip.
