pictures of revolvers w/out flutes in the cylinders. i know unfluted and fluted cylinders have got to be purely cosmetic differences, but i really like the looks of an unfluted cylinder. looked for one for a long time, then gave up. saw triple x the other night and seems he had one (s&w 629 maybe?) all "high teched up" with C-more sight and other crap.

anyhow, think its rekindled my want for a stainless unfluted revolver...maybe one with a slab-sided barrel...hmmm

what are my choices, unfluted and slab sided? maybe in 4'' or 5'' barrels.

The best looking unfluted cylinder I've seen to date is on the Ruger Bearcat: it's engraved. I'd guess the engraving is stamped rather than truly engraved, but it's mighty pretty.
