Black Majik April 9, 2004, 01:53 AM good luck man, what happened the first time? Ala Dan April 9, 2004, 03:11 AM Go for it my friend! :D My mom always said, "If at first you don't succeed, try again". Best Wishes, Ala Dan, N.R.A. Life Member notbubba April 9, 2004, 01:56 PM Did you say you're getting a SIG 220? If so, you're getting one of the very best as your first gun. Gump April 9, 2004, 03:03 PM Kind of hard to pull the trigger with my fingers crossed. I will however be “pulling” for you!;) Standing Wolf April 9, 2004, 05:01 PM I wish you the best of luck and send high hopes! Monkeyleg April 9, 2004, 06:22 PM Fingers crossed. Let me know when I can uncross them, as typing with crossed fingers is as difficult as pulling a trigger. tc300mag1 April 9, 2004, 06:40 PM Fingers crossed .. did all go well ? Black92LX April 9, 2004, 06:54 PM Well i have bad news fella. His distributor is back ordered till tuesday. so i will get my gun tuesday or wednesday. it's all blamed on Ohio CCW going into affect. And by the way i am getting a 226 in 9mm (Hopefully):banghead: hansolo April 9, 2004, 07:02 PM Sounds like you don't have a waiting period like the 10-day "punishment" we Californians have....everytime I buy a firearm I face the 10 LONGEST days:rolleyes: Hang in there! yesterdaysyouth April 10, 2004, 11:02 AM tell em .... /cartman voice "screw you guys, im going here..." /cartman voice http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/copy_of_New_Ammunition_.html tc300mag1 April 10, 2004, 12:14 PM dont feel to bad my gun is sitting there paid for im just waiting for stupid purchase permit to come in Don Gwinn April 10, 2004, 03:47 PM So what is your dealer throwing in to take care of you? That's an extra week. If he told you he'd have it for you Monday, don't be afraid to suggest he throw in a magazine or two or at least give you a break on some ammo or accessories. WonderNine April 10, 2004, 06:05 PM If that's what I wanted I would have bought one online and have it in my hands by now. And like yesterday'syouth showed AIM's got em for $399 with night sights and a 15 round mag. Black92LX April 11, 2004, 01:19 AM the ones at Aimsurplus were not in pleasant condition at all. i took a look at them when i was picking up my case of ammo last week. For my first handgun i wanted brand spankin new. Ohh well i guess i can wait a couple more days. dghboy315 April 11, 2004, 01:30 AM don't worry, it'll be worth the wait. Hal April 11, 2004, 07:21 AM Ohh well i guess i can wait a couple more days Ya know, I hate to admit it but in a weird way, I almost liked the 3 day wait (Brady). Day 2 was almost like Christmas Eve. :) MaterDei April 11, 2004, 07:58 AM My mom always said, "If at first you don't succeed, try again". I always wondered where that quote came from, thanks for clearing it up. :D Black Majik April 11, 2004, 04:17 PM "Try again" ~ Aaliyah "If at first you dont succeed, dust yourself off and try again...." :D CrudeGT April 11, 2004, 04:55 PM "Anything worth stressing over, is not worth doing..." Homer Simpson... Wait, that doesn't fit. :D Good luck with waiting. thumbtack April 11, 2004, 05:12 PM Question: You have waited 21 years, so what is a couple more days? Answer: An eternity!!!! Sig 226 is a nice choice. ny32182 April 11, 2004, 05:54 PM I've got a roommate who is from NJ and still a legal resident of that state. He recently applied for his first handgun. I don't know what the process up there is, but he said it will be six months before he is cleared to buy it. Six months is rediculous. So two days doesn't sound that bad, all things considered.... good luck.
