So what is your dealer throwing in to take care of you? That's an extra week. If he told you he'd have it for you Monday, don't be afraid to suggest he throw in a magazine or two or at least give you a break on some ammo or accessories.

If that's what I wanted I would have bought one online and have it in my hands by now.
And like yesterday'syouth showed AIM's got em for $399 with night sights and a 15 round mag.

the ones at Aimsurplus were not in pleasant condition at all. i took a look at them when i was picking up my case of ammo last week. For my first handgun i wanted brand spankin new. Ohh well i guess i can wait a couple more days.

don't worry, it'll be worth the wait.

Ohh well i guess i can wait a couple more days Ya know, I hate to admit it but in a weird way, I almost liked the 3 day wait (Brady). Day 2 was almost like Christmas Eve. :)

My mom always said, "If at first you don't succeed, try again".
I always wondered where that quote came from, thanks for clearing it up. :D

"Try again" ~ Aaliyah
"If at first you dont succeed, dust yourself off and try again...." :D

"Anything worth stressing over, is not worth doing..." Homer Simpson... Wait, that doesn't fit. :D
Good luck with waiting.

You have waited 21 years, so what is a couple more days?
Sig 226 is a nice choice.

I've got a roommate who is from NJ and still a legal resident of that state. He recently applied for his first handgun. I don't know what the process up there is, but he said it will be six months before he is cleared to buy it. Six months is rediculous.
So two days doesn't sound that bad, all things considered.... good luck.
