I always loved Berke Breathed. I belive that was the moniker. That cartoon goes back to the eighties and has been a perrennial favorite of mine!

Yep. Breathed always managed to irk people on both the left and the right, one of the reasons I like his work. I still love his strip about "Offensensitivity."

During the entire run of Bloom County, I think I only missed two days reading the comic strip. Never missed one with Calvin and Hobbes. Those two and Far Side.
