You can't personally delete threads, for a Very Good reason.

Only Mod's can delete entire threads.

But, from what I can see, once the boulder starts rolling down hill?
You or I can't stop the boulder.

A Mod may stop it, by locking it, or deleting the whole thread.
But that will seldom if ever happen to the whole thread.

But, I should really shut up and let the Mods answer your question.
So, I will.

You can delete a Post by simply edit/erasing the words and replacing w/ "-Delete-"
(the software requires something in the text line or it won't accept the edit)

The Mods can then clean up the thread itself.
