While not my style, I do especially appreciate the detail on the liners.

If my Dad were still alive.... I'd be giving him one of these - no matter what it cost. A craftsman in many disciplines, he'd have appreciated the work it took to craft one of these blades. Of course being the hardcore Depression era survivor that he was I'd never have told him the cost...

Beautiful, but how does it stay open? Traditional spring held blade? I had a similarly shaped knife years ago which was a linerlock, but yours looks better, stronger, and more useful.

Looks like a typical slip-joint knife to me.

It stays open when the spring in the spine tells it to, after it walks & talks when you open it with your fingernail.

I seldom comment on these knife postings because to be quite frank, I find most of them severely lacking in finish or art.

This - gads, that's beautiful.

I absolutely adore (quite certain I've never used "adore" on the internet before) that blade profile and ... aw hell, everything about it; bolster, shield... The dimensions and proportion of the nail slot are perfect to the blade.

What a wonderful piece to have one's name stamped onto.
