Polygonal rifling in revolvers?

I'm just wondering, are there any Revolvers that use poly rifling instead of land and groove?

Just wondering why??? Wouldn't it then make the revo more sensitive to shooting lead like the semis? I'd be curious to find out if one existed as well...

Peters Stahl sells polygonally-rifled revolver barrels. I have no idea how to get ahold of one in the US though.

I was just curious..
Poly is suppose to be a little more accurate, and way easier to clean, but then you couldn't shoot lead (not that big of a deal in semi's but a HUGE deal in revolvers) and I was just wondering if someone did this..

Polygonal barrels are easier to clean and loads read over my chrony are faster than with standard rifling. I've read about the accuracy claims, but I can't offer first-hand experience there.
You need to be careful about excessive leading from soft bullets causing pressure problems. I've taken to shooting a great deal of hard lead out of my polygonal barreled USPs (operative word here is "hard"); I get zero leading with the super hard Oregon Trail LaserCast bullets.

Closest thing to it is Smith & Wesson uses a slightly rounded edge in their rifling to control leading.

isn't it interesting about leading and ploygonal rifling?
when it was used in muzzle loading/black powder days, it was used to reduce fouling and ease cleaning ...with the pure lead slugs

Is lead fouling a problem with all polygonal rifled barrels, or only on Glocks?
I've seen a Glock 21 barrel and it's completely different from a CZ-83 9x18 polygonal rifled barrle. The Glock looks almost square, while the CZ-83 in 9x18 looks almost like a smooth bore (round).
Anyone have any solid info on leading in diffent types of polygonal barrles?

When I was stationed in Berlin, Germany there was a fellow shooter who had his S&W686 customized by Joe Peters and it had one of his barrels. Shot just like any other revolver.
When I first got my Performance Center 627 it sure looked like it had a Polygonal rifled barrel, very smooth.
