Found a nice new 629. I'd like to get some leads on inside the belt, and outside the belt leather holsters. Outstanding ridgid polymer could be a bet. Perhaps someone carries quick loaders in a nice way?
Funny, but I think these 629's are multiplying around here when the lights are off.:D :D :D :D :D

The only kydex N-frame IWB holster I'm familiar with is the Comp-Tac Gurkha I own. Surprisingly comfortable to wear, as it positions the cylinder above the belt.

3½" ???
I thought the short 629s were either 3" or 4"?

I'm wit' da Bear. I have a 3", but ain't never seen a 3.5". For OWB, I really like my Don Hume Double Nine. Not toooo expensive, but works very well for me.

No, those are normal 629's. The ones with five inch and longer barrels are long 629's. :)
You're right, though; never heard of a 3.5" 629 myself, either. :uhoh:

Wow! At last I have some normal firearms.
Have you ever noticed that all of the 6" S&W N-frame barrels are only 5-7/8" long?
However, both of my 3" 44 magnums are actually 3" and my 544 is a true 5".

klover - nicest, most comfortable OWB I've found for 3" N frames is the Sparks PMK. The Tucker Texas Heritage does very well for IWB. I have several others that I like, but these are the favorites for the 3" Ns.
