I need assistance on getting my pistol "COMPETITION READY". What do I need to do? I have all the gears, but is there any UPGRADES that I can add and/or perform to make my pistol apt to the challenge?

Like: tigger jobs, hammers, springs, scopes, mounts, red dots...etc..etc...

Need your advice.

Thanks,

What type of competition are you going to do. This makes a difference in what you can do to your gun.

I would recommend leaving your gun alone, and just shooting lots of competition with it first. Then you can figure out what you works for you personally and spend your money accordingly.

My idea of a perfect comp gun when I first started shooting comp is drastically different than what I'm shooting now. Take your time and learn as you go.

IDPA and some Action Shooting. Thanks for the advice. Although you are right in one thing...I am a bit short on $$$ so the upgrades may just have to wait.

Thanks again.

Not that I'm partial or anything but you can spend enough on a Charles daley 45 to buy 3 complete guns if you get into that "gotta have this accessory" rut. Been there, done that so I know where I'm coming from. Buy yourself a out of the box Glock, look up some hi-cap mags, invest in a couple of them then just shoot & don't worry bout anything else. If you want a tricked out gun, get a stock Glock 34 or 35 9mm/40 S&W they have the 3.5 lb trigger, adj sights, extended mag release & slide stop and you can't beat them for the money. My wife & I are both IPSC shooters and use both models, effectively, I might add.
