My Romanian SKS is out of commission right now... I made it through 40 rounds and then had jam where the round fell into the box magazine... I got it out, but now the mag is messed up... I gotta go fix it... :( I'm sad.

Well, that was easy, the follower had gotten above the block that it pushes up to lock the block back... back in business! But not at the range anymore. :(

THE EXACT SAME THING happened to me last weekend at the range. It was with an ancient P-36 9mm pistol. Took me awhile to figure it out. Disassembled the magazine, and filed off that part of the follower. Works perfectly now, but the slide doesn't lock back after the last shot.

If I filed off the part that lifts the block, I would need to grow an extra hand to hold the bolt back to correctly use the stripper clips, so can't do that!

I just have to remember to tilt the gun a full 180 degrees when I have a jam (which was strange in its own right) so the round doesn't fall into the mag box.

Wish I had noticed while I was out there, had about 300 rounds to still fire when I left.
