Hello all,

The brother in law and I are going to be loading up some 230 grain Meister Hard Cast RNL for his Sprinfield Loaded Target and I was wanting some help before I got started.

We have loaded 230 grain FMJ for his gun already and have been using 4.7 grains of Bullseve set to an OAL identical to S&B 230 grain FMJ as a reliable feeding reference.

Should I just leave everything as is and load the cast lead to the same length or should I adjust the OAL so the top of the case mouth is set such that the ridge on the bullet and case mouth meet?

Pictures of any of your RNL reloads would be a great reference.

Thanks,

Boo586

Don't use FMJ's myself, but I think I'd leave it be, but add a taper crimp die. Load a few, take out your barrel and see if they drop into the chamber.
