Considering purchase of DPMS M-4 as my first AR. If/when the AWB sunsets on September 13th, I'd like to install a true flash supressor on this gun. My question is this - the model I'm looking at comes with a "Welded & Pinned Miculek Compensator". Is it correct for me to assume since it is "welded & pinned" that this means welded to the barrel, and therefore cannot be removed. My thanks in advance for your input on this - I'm a rookie when it comes to these AR's. Specs for the gun can be found here:

KKF can remove it and repark the barrel
the removed compensator is a broken pile of metal

at this stage of the game i would by a plain jane no compensaor barrel
and plan on getting it threaded
