Hello all,

After having disassembled and reassembled the Uncle Mike's Grips on my 642, there is a small gap at the rear bottom of the frame where the grip should be flush. I was looking into options and the Hogue Bantam Grips look interesting.

Does anyone know if Hogue's Bantam Grips will fit a 642 (there webside doesn't specify)?

Has anyone tried them?

Thanks!

The Hogue Bantam's fit both my 342 and 642 equally well.
Enjoy. :D

Greeting's All-

I have Hogues "Bantam's" on an old model S&W model
60 in .38 special, and I really like 'em. They allow for
complete control of the weapon during a firing cycle.

Best Wishes,

Yes, they will work fine on your 642. Nice grips, and lighter than the Uncle Mikes grips.

I recently bought a 642 that came with boot grips. I really liked those little grips untill i loaded 'er up with +P's. I put a pair of Hogue's on it and now it's my favorite snubby. I was at the range a while back shooting my Ruger SP101 with Hoague's. The guy beside me had a SP101 with stock grips. I'd never shot mine with stock grips. Hint:don't shoot hot loads with stock grips!!!!Now i have Hogue's on almost all my snubbies.:D

It'll work on any J-frame round butt.

Many thanks!!

I have Hogue's on my SP101 and a Hogue overmolded stock on my Remington 870. I've been very pleased with both.

Thanks again,
