Has anyone tried this stuff?
Sounds neato to me.
http://owlnet.com/quality/223%20Timbs.htm (223 Timbs)
Timbs has loaded a 50gr 223 in 7.62x25 cases, supposed to go about 200fps out of a CZ 52.
Thoughts on this stuff?

i haven't tried it but i don't like the idea of a saboted round in a pistol, especially a plastic sabot. i'd like the idea a lot better if it was a genuine wildcat cartridge of 5.56x25mm with a proper size barrel.
such as the .224 VOB cartridge in the Tuma MTE (http://elek.osemka.p.lodz.pl/~robertog/htmls/tuma_mte.htm) which is based on a necked down 7.62mm tok cartridge

Interesting. Thanks for the info. :D
I am a bit skeptical of the sabot round also.
I also don't much care for the CZ 52, but I like the 2000fps out of a pistol.
Oh well, something to think about. :D
