I just heard about that on Fox News. Anyone else hear of it? Guy with an AK47 killed a cop and wounded his partner. Wonder if it was an Assault weapon or a Legal AK? Anyone know?

I'm not for banning things, but I think I could get behind this one--we really should get rid of guns that go out and shoot people all by themselves.

It happened in San Francisco, 48-72hrs ago. Only reportage I've read said 'AK47', but considering the lack of gun knowledge in the media, who knows what it actually was.

If this is ANOTHER case, here in Los Angeles, I have not heard of it.

The reports I just found discuss several recent killings. The one a few days ago was a CHP officer exiting a courthouse, but I didn't see anything about an AK-47 involved in that one. Here's the stock AP article about the latest killing:
