Traded in my Taurus 85 for a Ruger SP101 in .357mag and in addition to filling out the federal yellow form, I had to fill out a PA State Police white form. What was that?

Yep. PA has handgun registration. That extra form goes to the State Police. They have been sued, but the courts refused to hear the case, and they have been told by the FBI that what they're doing is illegal, but the State Police have ignored them.

That is what I have gathered, also.

The State Police do it, even though there is no law that gives them that right.
