I know I can hunt/shoot on BLM land- but what about US Forest Service and National Park land?

AFAIK you can hunt/shoot on National Forests but you can't even carry a gun in a National Park.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

US Forest Service is generally OK, but check with your local Ranger District. All state laws apply.

The Cleveland National Forest is generally the only place I go to shoot. It's free, and you can shoot anything you want. The only down side is that is in the heart of wildfire country and is occasionally closed down while preemptive burns are performed. Ironically, it's not in Cleveland, and there are NO trees, so technically it's not a forest.:p
