New to reloading guy, here's the soop: got a new 502 in the mail. Trying to zero the thing but it is impossible, the indicating end won't budge, it is as if the pan would have to be weighted down, what is the deal? Thanks.

Welcome to reloading. The scale probably is zeroed with that white thing under the balance that changes the level. Also read the FAQ's at their website if you run into any problems. Good luck.

nevermind guys, thanks. I just got to lookin things over and it could only be one thing: "its as if the pan needs to be weighted down"-hell it does need to be weighted down, at least with the little brass pan provided, which was contained in wadded up piece of paper that I discarded earlier today. Oh brother. Thanks anyway, it is workin fine.
