First time out with CZ-75 :D

Took the new pistol out to the range today, and I was most impressed!

I, my step son, and his friend sent two hundred rounds of Winchester white box 115gr down range. There were no FTFs of FTE's; CZ-75 and ammo functioned flawlessly. Accuracy was quite good with groups ranging between 2 to 3 inches, off hand, at 20 yards.

We used B-34 targets; miniature silhouettes. Once, on a lark, I decided to go for all head-shots. 10 for 10 at 20 yards! Chris, my step son, was performing well with bowling pins, more often than not knocking down all 6 in 7-8 rounds. I was pretty impressed, and so was he. He wants one for himself, and I will probably get one for him.

His friend Alex had a blast. He's rather new at shooting, and has a lot to learn. We'll work on that.

The pistol was a dream to shoot. It balanced well; the safety, slide release, and magazine release were easy to reach. I must say that this is the best pistol, by far, that I have held in my hands. For those of you looking for a great pistol, please serioulsy consider the CZ-75!

Eczellent! Is it a CZ75BD POLICE? the last Hi-Cap 9mm sold in the
states??

What defensive ammo are you putting in it?

The BD POLICE is a very popular model. I think it is on special
right now at CZ_USA.

Don't overlook the PCR or COMPACTs if you go to buy another
CZ. Both have the very safe Decocker, as does the CZ P-01

Of course, you can always bump up to .40 (CZ75B, CZ75A)
or even .45!

So many CZs, soo little money:(

It's a CZ-75B military. Turkish contract surplus. I'm feeding it standard 115gr JHP from Winchester.

The CZ-75 has outstanding ergonomics. I am amazed how well it fits my hand every time I pick up mine. Throw in its reliability and accuracy, and you have a package that's very hard to beat at any price. At their going rate, CZ pistols are screaming deals.

Ahh, another soon to be CZ addict. My CZ 75B is pretty much THE reason my best friend bought a CZ 85Combat instead of the Kimber he had long wanted (and now that he has the Kimber he prefers his CZ). Very shortly after buying my 75B I had to add another CZ, this time the CZ 40B. If it wasn't for MD's new built-in lock law I'd be adding another 75/85 varient (a BD and a PCR/P01 certainly, and either an 85Combat or a 75SA), a 97 and a 100. There is still a chance I may add one or two depending upon how long the stock of pre-2003 manufactured guns hold up out there.

Good to see another person discover CZ! It's the gun I shoot the best in IDPA, hands down. I just wish CZ would make the 97 in a single stack, so the grip was a bit thinner, but that's why I have 1911's I guess.
All in all, the CZ 75B is an excellant pistol.

Are the 75BD's currently being sold guns that were made for a non-delivered contract like the Turks?
