There's 2 feet of snow in my back yard at the moment, but that didn't stop me from shooting my new SP101 yesterday....I threw a soda can out on the snow and shot from my portch.....It was maybe 15ft away.I shot 357's and 38+ps....I hit the can every time(there's not much left of it now)
The gun seemed really, really strong.I had an Airweight inthe past and it always seemed if I shot too much it would wear out(although I know it probably wouldn't have)This gun will last forever!!!
Rugers rule.....I wore it around last night in the house and over to friends house using my old j-frame holster, and it really didn't seem too heavy, and no one noticed I was carrying.
My CCW is on it's way so I'm happy that this gun is carry-able.
Next week I'll go to the range and use an actual target and see how accurate it is at further distances.
All in all......I love it!!:D

Congrats. I like mine too. I didn't care for the factory trigger pull but a Wolf spring kit made it very nice. 10 bucks from Brownells.
