Americas most wanted, J.Walsh anti CCW

I read in Freedom First (NRA mag) that John Walsh ( the host of Americas most wanted)
Gave a speech for some sherriff organization against CCW in Wisconnsin.
What do you folks think about doing a call in during next weeks show?
He never responded when he ambushed the SAS with a bunch of antis
and seems impervious to a letter writing campaign, but every show they give out that toll free number and wait for the calls to come in.
It really saddens me because I used to really look forward to seeing his AMW shows and have heard that he has multi state CCW's if not some kind of deal with the US Marshalls for "special Marshall" or whatever it is that the wealthy use to get nationwide reciprocity.
So I wanted to run it past you folks ,what do you think about tying up his phonelines for one show in protest?

Sauk County Sheriff Randy Stammen said the association members ''were delighted'' that John Walsh of TV's ''America's Most Wanted'' came out against overriding the governor's veto of the conceal and carry bill The sheriffs support the Second Amendment, he said, but ''it doesn't say that you have a right to carry concealed weapons.''

That actually sounds lke a good idea.
Can you get some hard documentation about his stance and his alleged special status?
Then we can schedule a night.

With all due respect, might those phone lines you intend to tie up be used to catch criminals? Isn't that more important?

Walsh believes in licensing of gun owners and registering their guns. Heard it from his own lips. I am surprised that G. Gordon Liddy, who is pro-RKBA all the way, considers Walsh his friend and has him on the Liddy radio program from time-to-time.

Why wouldn't Liddy have Walsh on. Criminals need to stick together. Walsh needs a real good beating. Liddy need to still be in jail for his crimes.

WHAT!?!??!!?!?!?
Dammit I hate hearing stuff like that........especially in this case. If any one person in the world should be on our side, it should be Walsh. I guess his crime-fighting and empathy for victims ends at 9:59pm on Saturday nights. Or may'be he sees it as job security.
If this is true, the tremendous amount of respect I had for Walsh is 100% gone.

and Mark (no)Klass for making a lucrative career off their kids murders. I think it's apparent they are in it for the bucks and fame mostly.
Wasn't J Walsh also arrested for being with a couple of prostitutes several years ago?

John seems to work his anti gun stance into almost any show he hosts. He said something to the effect of "Russians do not have a 2nd amendment to slow the police down" when he aired footage from Russia.

MrAcheson,I've thought about your concerns as well. John Walsh though doing great work helped to deny women at risk of rape and serial killers the most effective tool they can carry for protection. Why?? there is more then enough victims out there for him to cash in on.
Million of Moms are denied their right to protect their children, here in CA I carry on my job as a security officer, chasing away felon parasites away from the tourist,I can't carry off duty thanks to people like J.Walsh-frankly I am real tired and angry about it.
Sure it will tie up the phone lines, but he is activley aiding the criminals by providing them with unarmed victims and (I feel) needs to feel pain for his actions.
If we decide to do this I hope I can count on you

Criminals assault us one and two and a few at a time—and usually end up getting caught. The leftist extremists are hell-bent on destroying the entire nation—and are still getting away with it.

Name the night. If I am at work, I'll use the cell-phone.
He of all people should understand the need to defend "you and yours" by whatever means necessary.
I don't know the details of the death of his child, or if even he could have prevented it. As a father, MY children will be as safe as I can possibly provide.

Think about it ... Mr. Walsh makes his living doing a show where people call in to help them track down fugitives.
If more people CCW, then there will be less "fugitives" and more "dead perps".
Bad for business for Mr. Walsh.
He wants as many of us as possible to be victims of crime and for the bad guys to get away because it guarantees him a paycheck.
Makes me sick how he has used the tragedy of his own son's death and the countless other victimes of criminals to make a name for himself.

Zundfolge, there's more than enough to go around ( I know you're being facetious, but crap . . . I guess we're really in violent agreement).
John Walsh is a statist punk, a media whore, and no friend of ours. It is most unfortunate that he has a platform to spew his drivel from while he brown-noses the police management/politicos. He clearly has no connection to the street and no sense of real-world self-defense:barf: :barf: :barf:

I can't be the only one who saw Walsh say on FOX during the DC "sniper" murders (and I quote)-
"People who own a lot of guns are cowards."

I SAW Walsh on his show state that UZIs are bad and need to stay banned. On the flip side, he had a scene with a girl using a .38 on a thug, and he said "Good shooting." Ok, so he likes revolvers, and hates semi-auto military style firearms. He also states in his book that he and his wife, (both rich kids), couldn't stand that the NRA had a building in DC with nothing for missing kids.
Hypocrite. Kill the AWB- for the children.:D

Is there a plan or not?
If so, let me know... I'll spread it on my e-mail lists.
For those of you who don't want to do it, don't. Just stay out of the way of those of who want to activate.
No matter what I have ever done in the realm of RKBA activism, from the MMM counter demonstration to our Dept of Revenue protest, there has always been multiple people thinking they are doing me a favor by telling me why something will be more bad than good.
I tire of the nay sayers.
Let's Rock this Saturday.
Do it, and then tell the press the next day.

The same guy who makes us all just a little bit more uncomfortable by showing us violent crimes and then letting us know that the perpetrators are still on the loose doesn't want us protecting ourselves? The blissninnies that think life is never violent are misguided, but at least I understand them. This guy spends every Saturday night scaring the crap out of little old ladies, but is against them defending themselves? Hypocrite

when they aired the piece about the woman who shot at a thug trying to carjack her and her husband, he began the piece saying "It was shootout at the OK corral....."
you got the feeling he didnt want to display a DGU but might have been told to do so by someone with more clout than him.

Of course, they want us just not quite scared enough to not go to work, and pay taxes, and then lock ourselves indoors the rest of the day.
They WANT us afraid, AND defenseless!
I refuse to be either.

A better angle is to call the producer of America's Most Wanted.
They are not responsible for content in John Walsh's other show (The John Walsh Show, which is an afternoon talkshow).
Don't ask me how I got these numbers.

202-204-2600 main number
202-204-2632 Executive Producer, Lance Heflin
