Does anybody here happen to know what the current issue sidearm of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol is? Just curious, is all.

I think the SIG 220 but possibly changing to the 226 in 357 SIG.

A Trooper was recently killed after making a traffic stop.In the reports and the reward that is being offered for his weapon/murder weapon is a Glock ? in 357sig.They've caught the killer but are still looking for the gun.Somewhere around the Texas/Oklahoma border.

Was a SIG 220, going to a Glock. I thought it was the Glock 22, but that's just what one of them told me in the preliminary process before it was final. I still see some with SIGs.

I think the biggest concern was moving to the more car-piercing 357 SIG round. Glock rather than a 226 or 229 was the budget concern. :p
