Anyone know where I can order some Cosmoline? Brownells has it backordered, and I was wondering if anyone had an alternate source.

I believe I saw some in the recent Shooters catalog or in Cheaper than Dirt.

Hope you find it.

Dang, I knew I should have kept those newspapers that had soaked all of it up! Who would have thunk it, a shortage of cosmoline!

Are you going to coat some guns with Cosmoline?? I once cleaned a SKS that was completely coated with that stuff. Took me like 3 hours to get it all off. I think we used kerosene.

Yes, it is going on a Caspian frame and slide that are in the white. I won't be starting on my build for several months, and I would rather spend a few hours getting the cosmoline off than risk having rust start to form.
