Are you going to coat some guns with Cosmoline?? I once cleaned a SKS that was completely coated with that stuff. Took me like 3 hours to get it all off. I think we used kerosene.

Yes, it is going on a Caspian frame and slide that are in the white. I won't be starting on my build for several months, and I would rather spend a few hours getting the cosmoline off than risk having rust start to form.
