Anyone know of a source for mag springs for 20 round 91 mags?

With the current surplus of 91 mags (used VG $8.00, New $15.00) don't bother with springs and what not. Stock up, couple years ago they were almost 3x that much. Seeing as how this could possibly be the last large import (2004 legislation pending) they could be worth 5x that much in a few short years.

It does seem like a good time to get extra mags, but if you want springs, maybe the M14 springs that Wolff sells might work.

Or ask around at HKPRO or HK91.com.

Fed Arms had entire HK mags in excellent shape of $3.95 each. Hard not to just replace the whole mag at that price.

Steve, Fed Arms (FAC) and Century (CAI) are notorious for selling poor grade JUNK as NEW or my favorite LIKE NEW.
By spending an extra $4.00 with a more reputable dealer he really will get nice stuff. The FAC and CAI springs are probably worse than the ones he's trying to replace.

Thanks everyone.
Handy, good idea about the M1A mag spring. I looked at Wolff and, at least in the pic anyway, the M1A spring looks similar enough to fit with minor WECSOGing. I ordered one spring, just to do the experiment, for $13.84 shipped. It'll be a range mag if I can make it fit.
Steyr is right....cheaper to replace the entire mag!! Could have bought 3 mags from TAPCO for that.
The spring that broke was on a Rhinemetall (HK contractor) mag, the only one I had. I broke down, and cleaned, all my other HK manufactured mags yesterday afternoon and none of the springs in those seemed rusted at all. I wonder what Rhinemetall used for springs?
Thanks again for the help.

The ones I got were practically brand new and function flawlessly.
