They must have been reading my idea that I suggested at TFL. Record the BF and the serial number and trace it like a gun 's serial number. No registry of gunowners that way.

BF is a ploy .. and an unreliable one at best. It hinders aquisition of firearms by legal and responsible people (MD comes to mind) ... and is all part of the many methods used to erode the 2nd.:(

Mine started when they put the safety on the TRIGGER!!! That started the infamous police CSD (criminally stupid discharge) numbers skyrocketing.
