...what would you buy and how much would you bid??
http://www.lpgauctions.org/hendersonguns.html
Note: some of the photos don't have the proper capitons, the "German Luger, 22 Caliber, Semi-Automatic, 176073" sure looks like a Ruger MKII to me.

Indeed. And the 'Smith & Wesson Model 19-4 357 Magnum 68K0253 New" on page 2 is a Ruger revolver as well.

The doors will open for previewing the guns at 8:00 A.M. Coffee and home made cinnamon rolls will be waiting for you.
I'm not a coffee drinker, but have always been a sucker for cinnamon rolls.

And then there is the mysterious page 4
The only things I saw I would be interested in would be the S&W 25-2 and the H&R 999. Both will either sell for next to nothing or way too much.

That's no Luger. It looks like a Mark I, as was previously noted.

Model 17
Model 27
Model 25-2
Lugers
Marlin 39A
Winchester Model 12
Don't know what they are worth. Would look it up if I were going.

The springfield '06, couple of .357 pistols, that cool top-break .22 pistol, Winchester model 12 pump, and the 30-06 with scope.
Nice collection, but nothing really rare or valuable in there, I'd be out to make a great deal on a few guns.

Nothing I'm terribly interested in. The cinnamon buns sound great as was stated earlier!

I'd like to have the Luger (the real Luger!) and maybe the H&R Topbreak.
Makes you wonder if the estate didn't have any surviving relitives or just didn't have any that were into guns. Maybe they kept the good stuff and are selling the "junk"??
Probably have to forgive the mislabeling on the photos too, appears the auction company normally does farm auctions, large equipment etc.

There are some nice usable guns in that pile. If I lived in the area, I'd be there. And I'd enjoy both the coffee and the rolls.

A lot of mismarkings and things left out.Argentine mauser labled as a Jap military rifle and jap rifle labled as a argentine. They allso failed to list who manufactures of the the german guns.Make a big dif in price.
What would I want?P-38 if it is a military steel frame-The H&R 999(handled one whaen I was a kid and fell in love with its feel and never found one when I had money)-25 S&W would be nice but thats about all.

A 22 Long Rifle shell can be just as effective as a 357 if place right. I do not recomend a semi auto for home protection, as they will crown. So my recomendation would be to get a revolver in 32, or 38 spl.,they are best for home protection as they will work every time
