It looks like the rentention strap would hold down the grip safety of any auto so equipped.
It says it works with the XD series so they obviously do not recommend against grip safty weapons.

They may not be taking that into account, then again it my not put so much pressure on it do depress a grip safety.
I have just order a Sport Holster (http://www.jagwear.com/jgwr4-28.htm) that says not for use with guns with grip safeties because it will depress the safety, but I don't have anything like that yet so no worries.

That sure looks like it would be dangerous with a grip safety.
You should shoot a love handle off or something.

I just got their e-mail response.
The strap is not on there tight it is just to keep it in in case the wearer bends over to far or takes a spill.

Yeah I really like the look of those Jagwear active holsters but as you said it wouldn't work with the grip safety of my xd.
