Pensioners robbed at gunpoint

Two Co.Antrim pensioners have been threatened at gunpoint by armed robbers in their home.




The couple were in their home at Dunloy when two masked men forced their way in on Friday night.

One threatened the elderly couple with a gun and forced them to lie on the floor. The other man ransacked upstairs rooms.

During the raid, the couple`s daughter arrived and was also forced to lie on the floor.

The two men are described as being in their 30s and having local accents and were both wearing black bomber jackets.

Police in Ballymoney have appealed for witnesses.

This would be Repetition #???? of this precise circumstance brought about by the recently enacted "Criminal Safety Act"?

They left out the part about terorrizing/beating the victims to force them to reveal where their valuables might be hidden in order to save effort.

Maybe those guys were sloppy. They didn't rape the woman when she returned home. Somebody ought to report 'em to their union and make sure they get additional training.
