I know that the "Colt 357" was first offered in 1954, but what year did it become the "Colt Trooper?"

The 357 was discontinued in 1961, and was "rolled into" the Trooper line the same year.

There were Troopers made during the time the "357" was built also. They were chambered in .38sp.
