I've found a Valtro 1911 45ACP. Its on sale, 15% markdown, just a little ($150) more than a Kimber. Are they worth it?

I've heard good things about them.

I'm thinking about going all out and getting a Les Baer Thunder Ranch Special in Hard Chrome for my 1911. Now I just got to save the $1800+.

I noticed you are in Canada.

You should do more research and possibly talk to John Jardine.

My understanding is that the Valtros going to Canada are not worked on and "blessed" by Mr. Jardine.
