I've got an 11-87 Premier Trap and a 870 Express Magnum and I was curious if the 870's buttstock would work on the 11-87. The 11-87 has some funky monte carlo stock that works fine enough for trap but one of my dad's buddies wants to go for sporting clays and I feel like I'd want something a little more like a field gun, and the 11-87 just doesn't feel right with the high-combed stock. Of course, if somebody can cut me a deal on some good used 11-87 furniture, I'd be open to that too... :D

They are not interchangable . The bolt return(action) spring housing protrudes through the butt stock on the 11-87 .

Trippyfool, check here for some stocks. I recently bought one to cut down for my kids that will interchange on 3 of my small 1100's.
Do you have any idea on how to get pictures of those stocks and whatnot? I Wouldn't mind a stock that matches my forearm but I guess I could get a whole new furniture set. Thanks for the link too!

TF,
I don't think pics are available. The stock I bought was a mahogony for LT20 and 28ga and.410 ga 1100's. It perfectly matches all three for color and has a nice straight grain. It has all of the Rem hardware on it like the pistol grip white and black diamond and a rem buttplate. I was very surprised at how nice a stock it was, almost don't want to cut it down.
