I'd like to figure out the worth of the stuff I have...

Long story short, I got a new job, and I'm going to college. Job and college require me to have a laptop, and funds are short. I may finance some of it, but I'd like to minimize that if possible, and I dont even know if I can GET financing.

First rifle: 1943 izzy 91/30 with accessories and stuff. Wood has some minor dings, but still beautiful, bore still great, the rifle is a great shooter.

Second rifle: 1945 M44 with cruddy stock. Currently ON it is a nice stock that I refinished myself. Also attached is a B-square scope mount and cheapie BSA red dot. The original sight parts are included as well, as is the original stock.

What could I expect to get for this stuff?

Sorry to say this, but it's not a seller's market for those particular guns. You may get enough $$$ for a tank of gas... maybe. :(

Well, 2 tanks of gas for me.

Dude, it's not worth it. As a C&R licensee, don't get in the habit of selling guns, unless you're liquidating your collection and ending your C&R status.

Keep 'em, don't give them away, which is roughly what you'll have to do to get rid of them.

Yeah you guys are right. I'd rather use a credit card and use that then sell my guns. I'll see what I can do without selling my rifles.... They cried when they saw my post! :D

Sell plasma or kill the cable TV for a few months.

Just think about how in 20 years either of your surplus rifles will have more value than your 20 year old laptop that you are about to pay $1,000 for.
