I have received this study on coyote attacks from the good ol' boys at the Arizona Deptartment of Health Services Vector and Zoonotic Diseases (rabies, malaria, etc).

Looking at the picture of the 4-year old girl who was attacked and having my own dogs stalked by coyotes in my neighborhood, not a bad reason to cull the population of varmints from time to time.

Please spread this to any of your varmint-hunting buddies and clubs, especially for publication on their web pages.

I showed my wife the pics just to make sure she is *extra* motivated to carry her Glock 23 when she hikes with the dogs in north-north Phoenix.

If that report doesn't make you want to go kill some coyotes I don't know what will!! Some of those stories are really scary. I am glad we don't have too many coyotes up here.

Notice that the report mentions people who " intentionally feed coyotes" this is a major problem with bears too! The welfare system doesn't work with animals or people.

Unfortunately there's not much public land down here and the people with large spreads are usually rich folks that don't want us commoners on their property or they are old timers leery of letting strangers on their land. But I am hearing about a steady increase in the coyote population around here
