Laws against what?
February 10, 2003, 05:33 PM
oh i dont know:
RULE I: ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED
RULE II: NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO DESTROY
RULE III: KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET
RULE IV: BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET
February 10, 2003, 05:35 PM
The "No finger in the trigger guard till you're ready to shoot" rule.
Or maybe the "Don't shoot into the air you idiot" rule.
February 10, 2003, 05:36 PM
That may not be an accident. She may be just about to fire into the air. In that part of the world that's often considered a good idea for some reason.
More likely it was issued to her by some kind of Ba'ath commisar for the occasion and she knows it isn't loaded. I know, I know, they're always loaded. I'm just telling you why I think she's doing it, not agreeing with her.

Ohhh, I dont know. WHERE was that picture take? DisneyLand? I think in that case there are some issues...
February 10, 2003, 05:43 PM
whoa now! maybe we should be encouraging the iraqis to fire their guns in the air as a sign of supporting hussein? that might solve the problem without our forces getting involved?
February 10, 2003, 05:49 PM
It's a staged photo from another country. Exactly what is it that has your panties in such a twist?
Get over it already.

In that part of the world that's often considered a good idea for some reason.I would call it God working his magic and thinning the herd.

Do you really think they are taught firearm safety? ...or care? Especially to their women?
Is the gun loaded? I don't care.
Is her finger on the trigger? I don't care.
Is she actually firing into the air? I don't care.
SHe is holding a firearm and demonstrating hostilities toward America. She is a target.

I think I missed something...
So what? An Iraqi woman is allowed to show her face in public & fire an AK into the air during a demonstation?
There are bigger fish to fry. Patience...it'll all work out in the end

"Aren't there rules about this? "
Well, I dunno 'bout rules per se, but if any Iraqi who supports Saddam wants to shoot into the air (or directly at other Iraqis for that matter) then by all means, we should start shipping crates of AMMO to them!!! :D
February 10, 2003, 07:43 PM
I wonder if they can do that at an Anti-Saddam rally? :D
February 10, 2003, 07:54 PM
I wonder if they can do that at an Anti-Saddam rally?
Nah. Pro-saddam rallies are better, because he might be there!!!:neener:
February 10, 2003, 08:22 PM
DrJones, you might have something there. Hmmmm. What about if we shipped them a bunch of grenades?
February 10, 2003, 09:05 PM
What`s the problem? Isn`t she part of Hillary`s election committee?
February 10, 2003, 09:12 PM
Reminds me of a Diane Fienstien Picture I saw here in California.
DiFi like to put here finger on the triger and wave Ak's around as well.
