Has anyone had a bad experience ordering from Northridge International (http://www.northridgeinc.com)?
I'm worried I'm about to have one.
Back on May 6, I placed an order with their website for a number of accessories for my Garand. When I came to the end of their online process, I concientiously made a copy, stored on my hard drive, of the "receipt screen", so (obviously) I'd have a receipt and a reference.
On May 20, I sent an email (including the text of the "receipt screen") to them saying I'd had no aknowledgement of my order, and asking whether they were processing it.
On May 21, I received this email from Northridge:

Dear Mr. Waldron,

We've check our records and do not seem to locate an order from you. Could
you please check to see if a billing was processed?

We appreciate your cooperation and regret any inconvenience.

Northridge International, Inc.

Is this a sign I've handed my credit card number to someone who's shortly going to make my life very unpleasant? Can any other THR folks share their experiences with Northridge International?

Thanks.

Possible, but it is more likely they simply fouled up. Did you pay by credit card? Check your statement to see if your card has been charged. If it has not, they probably just didn't receive your order somehow. If it has, follow up on the order and keep a record of all correspondence or conversations. If you still do not receive your goods or services, contact your credit card company and the charge will be reversed. (It may take a month or two.)

I ordered from them once with no problem other than it taking a month and a half to get 4 AK74 mags and a pouch. But I had heard about the typical long ship times beforehand. They're a fairly big operation, I doubt they'll try to rip you off...

Call your credit card CS number and cancel the order. I tried them before I knew better. They are a fairly big pile of :cuss: alright.:banghead:

I would check into it as quickly as possible, but don't freak out about it yet. I've written a couple of e-commerce sites, and the shopping cart software isn't perfect. The shopping cart software is bought from a third party and implimented in the site. With the software I use, it will very rarely 'drop' an order. The customer would order normally, but for some reason it won't come through. It isn't in my code, so I have no idea why it does it or what to do to fix it. Giving them the benifit of the doubt for now, this could be what happened. FWIW

anyone know if this place is the offspring of Sherwood Intl? Used to actually BE in Northridge, CA, and used to fly a similar cannon logo.
Place went through a lot of changes over 15-20yrs, then was gone - I had no idea they (might have) moved...

I've ordered a bunch of stuff from them over the last couple of years and have never had any troubles. Most stuff was here in about a week and everything was as described.
