It's good to see both sides of the RKBA story being told to bad CNN doesn't get the hint. Wonder why there ratings are in the toilet?

Yup, John Lott is well known in these circles as a vocal gun rights advocate...

Isn''t Bill O'Reilly's nightly program broadcast on Fox News?

I believe he came out in favor of the AWB because he didn't want those machine guns and rocket launchers on the street.

Fair and balanced . . . right.

On top of being a general, all-around blowhard, Bill O'Reilly is also an ignorant gun-grabber.

Having said that, FOX, while still generally ignorant on the gun topic, tends to at least be more fair about it.

CDbeaver, presenting both sides is what "balanced" means. O'Reilly is an anti, Lott is a pro. If you give them both a forum, that's a good example of balance. Quite frankly, in that kind of comparison, Lott wins hands down and balance favors us. I doubt the average anti would think it very fair to be saddled with O'Reilly as their intellectual champion, though.

Lott was exceedingly stupid in some of his ego-boosting maneuvers awhile back, but he's hard to argue with on the facts.

Im gonna stick my neck out here and probably will get some flames from both sides (who me :))

Heres the premise...there is no such thing as a journalist...they are rather all propagandistsa promoting some agenda

There is no such thing as Fair and Blanced news outlets...they are all pushing an agenda..

There are no such things as unbiased researchers regarding gun control

Gun Control or lack thereof is only one factor to consider in analyzing crime.
