Have anyone any info/experiences on installing a (winchester) M70 safety on K98 mausers?

You know, I've been trying to figure out where I got into the habit of leaving a bolt handle up, instead of using the safety. Your question just jogged my memory. My uncle built a .22-250 on a 98 action, back in the late 1940s. He put a Weaver K-10 or K-12 on it, disremember. Anyhow, that Mauser safety...

Add to that my grandfather's general distrust of safeties--and now I remember.

Never tried making such a change in how the safety worked, though.

that is what I do, because I do not trust any safety, but I want one that is more trustworthy than the 1/4 "buheler" safety that is on it. To use the last few meters of crawling before I get in position to shoot.
