Anybody selling replacement handguards for M1Carbines, that are a bit safer than the metal BBQ grill of a handguard most M1Carbines have on them right now?

I actually have an M1A polymer handguard from Fulton Armory and I love that thing, won't heat up, safe to the touch... Anything close to that for a M1Carbine?

Just get an original GI handguard, they are made of wood, and work just fine.

My dad has a M1 carbine with a ventilated metal handguard. Never saw the need for it, the wood ones look better.

Do a google search for "M1 carbine parts" and pick up a wooden handguard.

The ventilated handguards may serve some purpose on an M2 Carbine, but I think they're silly on M1s.
