Front sight for a Savage 99?

Hello,

I need a front sight assembly for a Savage model 99CD. Any ideas on where I might find one, or a suitable replacement? I have the screws that hold it to the barrel just not the sight.

Have you tried Numrich? They show a "front sight base assembly with screw", Item #141710. It is listed for a "99C Series A."

If you do not need to maintain factory original type parts for collector value, I suggest that you contact Williams Gun Sight Company in Lapeer, Michigan. I have Williams iron sights on front and rear of my Savage 99CD.
