Where did the Mozambique drill get the name Mozambique drill? I've never heard of the origins of this even though it has been talked about for years.

It's wierd the things that get going around in your head when you are driving around in circles mowing the yard.

When fighting terrorists in Africa, the Portugese national police were armed with 9mm pistols. They soon discovered that shooting a man with a 9mm (or with any pistol) was an iffy proposition, thus the follow up shot to ensure a stop.

Two to the chest, one to the head, makes them good and dead (maybe).
